my first time visiting Brooklyn

Now, I’m gonna write down my journeys in New York in English!!!! 

せっかくなので、英語も使いながらブルックリン散策の記録を！

Today marked 16days since I came to New York. 

ニューヨークに来て、早16日が過ぎました…！

I headed to Brooklyn for the first time. 

It was beautiful day, not too hot and not too cold.  So it was a perfect day to go out!

超いい天気でお出かけ日和★

連日寒い日が続いてたので前からこの日にいこうと決めてましたっ！

I got up around 10am and left home at 1pm. 

It took 30minuites to get to Williamsburg. 

There are a lot of vintage clothing shops and variety stores and cafe there. 

So I decided to go there last night. 

古着屋や雑貨屋、カフェがたくさん集うウィリアムズバーグへ！

家から30分くらいで着きました！

I got off Metropolitan Ave station and walked to the area. 

I found street arts and graffiti everywhere.

That reminded me of Melbourne. And also the atmosphere of this area is similar to Melbourne, I feel. 

街中にグラフィティがたくさん。

メルボルンが懐かしいよ〜

There were so many people on the sidewalk.

It was difficult to walk straight!!! It was Saturday, after all. 

Then somehow, I felt out of place... I got really nervous...

that’s my weakness!!!

歩道には土曜だから人がいっぱい！

ひとりぼっちで、なんとなーく寂しく。

場違いな気がしてナーバスに…

それが私のダメなところなんですよ、知ってます！克服しないと！

anyway, I went into some shops that I had checked last night, but I didn’t feel like shopping. 

So i went to Partners coffee that is famous for good coffee. 

それから気を取り直して、美味しいコーヒーが飲めると噂のパートナーズコーヒーへ。

長蛇の列！

There was a long line of people! 

There was no place to sit.

I was very thirty, so I got a iced latte!

Big one!!!

I’m in USA, so i have to give tips... my total came to $6.72!!!!

That was a bit pricy... I always compare the price in Australia with that in New York. 

I would buy a coffee for $4 in Australia...

But, that was really good cafe. 

めっちゃ暑かったのでアイスラテを注文。

チップ込みで6.72ドルは高すぎじゃない？

毎回オーストラリアのカフェと比べちゃうわたし。。

After going out of the cafe, I walked to another clothing shop, called “beacons closet” in Green point. 

I got a parka called lulu-lemon for $25.

That is comfortable to wear! 

そこから古着屋さんで着心地のいいパーカーをゲット！

写真撮るの忘れたけど、めちゃくちゃ広いとこでたくさん服があって、見てるだけで楽しかった〜！

After that I went to McCarren park to look for a public restroom. 

People in the park seemed relaxing and enjoyable. 

トイレを求めて公園へ。

みんなそれぞれにくつろいでいて、いい感じの場所だったー！

And I wanted to see water, so walked to Transmitter park! 

Beautiful sunset...

I could get a view of Manhattan from the pier. 

That was really amazing. 

そこから少し歩いてマンハッタンが見渡せる桟橋へ！

夕日が超綺麗。空も雲も超綺麗。

気持ちよかった〜！

I’d love to go there again. 

Also, next time I wanna cross the Brooklyn Bridge !!!

I wish I could come with someone. 

次は誰かとブルックリンブリッジ渡りたい…

やっぱ感情シェアできる誰か必要ですっ！
